Solid product, minor shipping snag

I ordered a Starter Kit with the Vegan Omega 3 and a Refillable Glass Jar. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I appreciate the sustainable packaging, especially the refill pouches. Everything was well-packed. My only minor issue was that the delivery took 8 days to reach me in California, a little longer than I expected, but it wasn't a huge problem. Customer service was quick to respond when I asked about the tracking. The quality of the product seems really good, and the bundle saving made it a good value. I might try the Vitamin D3 next time.

Good value on subscription

I was looking for a good deal on vegan Omega 3 and found Nothing Fishy. I decided to go with the subscription for the DHA Algae Oil to get the 20% savings. The price per capsule felt really fair with that discount. Shipping took about a week to get to me in Texas, which was fine. Overall, it felt like a smart purchase and worth the money.

My new favorite Omega 3!

I just got my first order of the Omega 3 Algae Oil capsules and they're amazing! I've been looking for a vegan option that actually works and these are it. The Refillable Glass Jar is a super nice touch too. I'm already planning my next order, probably a subscription because I loved them so much! Can't wait to tell my friends about this.

Got a first order code from Nothing Fishy email, but it's not applying to my subscription. Anyone else?

O OmegaFanatic 3 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer

Yeah, those first order codes usually don't stack with subscription discounts. It's one or the other.

E EcoEater 3 weeks ago

Exactly. Learned that the hard way.

N NewVeganSupps 3 weeks ago

Ah, that makes sense. Bummer though.

P PlantPowered 3 weeks ago

Sometimes the subscription discount is better anyway.

O OmegaFanatic 3 weeks ago

True, depending on the percentage.

S SmartShopper 3 weeks ago

Try using it on a one-time purchase instead then starting a subscription next time?

N NewVeganSupps 3 weeks ago

That's a good idea, thanks!

Has anyone had to return an order? Was it a pain?

R Raj 3 months ago

Yeah returns were easy, did it last month because I accidentally ordered too much. Just contacted them through their site.

R Ryan D. 2 months ago

I haven't personally, but their policy seems pretty straightforward if you look on their site. As long as it's unopened, you should be fine.

Can you use a discount code if you sign up for the subscription? Or is that only for one-time purchases?

J Julia Romero 3 months ago

I tried to use a first-order discount with a subscription once and it didn't work. The subscription discount gets applied automatically though, which is usually a better deal anyway.

P Phil L. 3 months ago

I think most of the bigger discounts are tied to the subscription or bundles, so you get that savings instead of needing a separate code.

What's the best way to get a discount? Is there usually a first-time buyer thing?

J Josh L. 2 months ago

They usually have a popup for a newsletter sign-up discount, like 10-15% off. Otherwise, the subscription is the biggest saving.

G Gwen Brooks 2 months ago

Check their social media around holidays like Veganuary or Black Friday, they often run bigger promos then. Otherwise, newsletter is your best bet initially.

Is Nothing Fishy like, actually legit? I've seen a few brands pop up selling algae stuff, wondering if this one is good.

T Tara Z. 3 months ago

I've been using them for almost a year now, no issues. The product seems high quality and their customer service has always been good.

W Wendy Carter 3 months ago

Yeah, they're legit. I switched from fish oil to these because of the sustainability aspect and haven't looked back. Definitely a real company.
